Come learn about making maple syrup, serve the community and have fun! "Sweet" opportunities include:
+ Fire Tender - Monitor fires; add wood as needed.
+ Greeter/Parking Assistant - Welcome guests, direct guests to available parking, give basic information
+ Sample server - Help distribute samples of maple syrup products, hand out surveys.
+ Provide general assistance to staff at the station where Native American history and the use of Maple Syrup will be discussed with a demonstration of syrup reducing to Maple Sugar.
+ Sugar Shack Assistant - Help guests gather safely around the demonstration area near the Sugar Shack. May help staff filter/bottle syrup, as needed.
+ Wagon Pick-up Station monitor - Help guests assemble and safely load wagons for ride to/from the parking lot.
* All volunteers under 18 must have signed parental permission.
+ Dress: Most of the volunteer stations are outdoors. Please dress for the elements. It always seems to feel colder than the forecast shows.
