The Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department encourages public involvement in the maintenance and daily operations of community parks and facilities. The Park Steward Program is a volunteer-based activity where individuals or groups "adopt" and maintain designated HCPR parks, facilities or areas within parks for a full calendar year. Park Stewards assist Hamilton County Parks staff with various projects at the Cool Creek Nature Center.
